As we head towards 31^st January, don’t forget to put in a Time to Pay agreement with HMRC if you are unable to settle your tax bill. We have updated our guides to ‘Reasonable excuse’ and ‘Insufficiency of funds’ this week. It is probably best to review these before the end of the month if it is likely that you or your clients are going to have any potential filing or late payment tax failure.

We hope that you all had a relaxing break. Although we are starting 2021 in our third national lockdown, we hope to provide you with as much support and assistance as we can.

In January 2021 the Chancellor announced a new £4.6bn package of support for the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors. Businesses forced to close due the latest Coronavirus lockdown will be able to access grants of up to £9,000 per property.
