HMRC has updated its list of disclosed current tax avoidance schemes where a scheme user may be asked to make an accelerated payment of tax.
An Accelerated Payment Notice may be given in respect of outstanding tax under the APN regime. HMRC has been issuing APNs since August 2014. There are now over 1,200 tax schemes on the list.
