HMRC will stop making payments of Child Benefit, Guardian’s Allowance and Tax Credits into Post Office card accounts from 1 December 2021.
Individuals with Post Office card accounts have until 30 November 2021 to set up a new account to continue to receive payments of these benefits.
Accounts details can be updated using:
- Personal Tax Accounts.
- gov.uk or by phone for Child Benefit recipients
- The Tax Credits helpline.
