The Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, announced in a statement made on 19 December 2022 that the 2023 Spring Budget will be held on 15 March 2023.
The announcement also confirmed that the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) will prepare an economic forecast to accompany the budget statement.
Along with the OBR's forecast prepared for the 2022 Autumn Statement, this will fulfil the legislative requirement for the OBR to produce two forecasts every financial year.
