Inheritance Tax: Autumn Budget 2025
Changes to Inheritance Tax (IHT) announced at the 2025 Autumn Budget on 26 November 2025 include IHT thresholds being frozen at their current levels for an additional year until 2031, and the introduction of a spousal transfer on any unused APR/BPR £2.5m allowance.
